MSN the global portal site required a news delivery solution. GURUS provides a news delivery solution for MSN which enables it to deliver breaking news directly to its many international portal sites.

Background
MSN was an existing client of Reuters. GURUS has been a Technology Alliance Partner of Reuters since 1999, and is familiar with Reuters products and services. Reuters approached GURUS to deliver a complex solution for MSN, which would enable a centralised content delivery and distribution system.

The Solution
GURUS worked closely with the team at MSN and Reuters to create a secure delivery mechanism that currently delivers news to a central location frorm where it can be distributed to portal sites in Euroupe and South America.

The solution has been in place for a number of years, and delivers over 1500 news items and pictures a day.
